I know the P8R head off a B20z has larger intake valves (33mm) than the P75 head and it flow alot better. Will a P8R head work on a B18b block? Is it worth swapping out the P75 for the P8R? What head gasket would I use, the B20z gasket or the B18b? I would be putting a set of Crower 402 cams in it.

it is a cheap upgrade u can say. and yes it will fit on a b18b ls block. as for the head gasket u have to buy it for the year of the block is not the head.

Ok thanks. Should I get the head milled to get the combustion chambers closer to the b18b bore size or will it matter??

It's cheaper just to modify the oem 3 layer head gasket into a 2 layer.

^^ well, It will raise CR, but IDK with the 33mm valves what the piston to valve clearance would be.

i would use the .030
