Got a JDM d15 vtec, the exhaust is quiet with a cat, also gonna change the oil. Anybody got experience with this motor not passing emissions?

I talked to the x owner and he told me that its obd1 chipped ecu, im guessing it aint gonna pass now lol. also i was wondering about tune ups, like if i go to Autozone to buy parts what should I say it is? Cause I would like to buy some spark plugs and wires for it, the engine idles a little rough, I put 92 grade gas in it, the mph is awesome for how quick the car is.

most obd1 vtec ecu will work for that
as far as a tune up most USDM parts are the same as the JDM parts
all basic d-motor parts will work just say u got a 92-95 delsol si or a civic ex/si it will all work the only diff. is in the head vtec or non vtec but even thin the intakes are the same the header is the same hell even the spark plugs are the same its all good for the most part
