So Im going to be picking a b18b tomorrow and was wondering If I' notice a difference in power between my 97 b20 and this b18 power wise?It won't be going in until I pick up a new clutch/P.P then its off to get B.A.R Cert. and then its time to start gathering parts for my build 170whp build.I diecided to give up on the A/C conversion since I would need everything under the dash and that would kind of defeat the purpose of buying a cx anyways lol.

more top end less low end compared to a b20b... b20z however is a different story

technically you will have more top end but will you really feel it? not really. you will if you put in 170whp!

a b20b is only rated for 126hp compared to the 142hp of the b18b so yeah less top end. my bone stock b20b dynoed at 112hp with all LS parts (stock LS IHE, most b18b's will put down about 125ish
