i tried to search for somt answeres but didn't find much, i have a b18, with b16 pistons, stock rods, mild ported head, header. i was curious if i should go one or 2 heat ranges cooler. eventually i plan
will be spraying a 50 shot. i plan to use ngk.

on a side note, i have talon 390 injectors (Turbo auto) but thedy don't fit into the manifold correctly, they make the rail sit to high need, do i need to use different seals into the manifold or will only blue tops work?

I would personally go with a 7 heat range plug. To be specific i'd use NGK BKR7E's (part#: 6097). I use that plug for low boost whitch would be similar to a 50 shot it terms of combustion heat.

With the dsm blue tops you MUST bore out the stock injector seals in order for them to fit. Its not much but it makes a difference. Good luck.

good info, i'm gonna use the 390's to richen it up a little over stock injectors, tuning will be the key. i just wanted to be safe about the plugs. what do you think about retarding the distributor for the spray, couple degrees?

If you're only going with a small shot, retarding the distributor should be alright, however tuning would be best

As for the plug numbers, the bkr#e's are more of a cheap race plug while the zfxxx plugs are like a stock oem replacement.
