 Post subject: pr3 ecu in a pr4 DA?

any help will be great. has anyone tryed to use a pr3 ecu in a pr4 DA? was hoping for an increase anywhere in the rpm band. motor is stock b18b intake any info on this set would be great. thanks for looking..

PR3 is for a B16 so I really don't see any gains from swapping the PR4 ECU.

i didnt see power gain when i put my pr3 in. but i did see some pretty nice flames. all though you'll have crazy backfire shiftin about 7500. and itll run like ass on lower rpm but about 4500 it'll clear up. you can chip it and it'll run great. note that mine is still unchipped

Vtec ecu isnt a good choice with aLS engine, best bet is a chipped and tuned p06 or p75 ecu, with PYR or LAB program, best we seen around.
