went to the raleigh auto show today, nissan wasn't there (among others like bmw, audi, honda, etc...). that sucked.
lotus was there with a freaking bang though, one elise, 2 exige s, one cup car. those cars were so money, but no way in hell i'd consider them at all for even semi dd purposes after getting in out of a couple of them. guy was telling me he was going to get about 3 times as much as his 'fair share' (production divided by dealers) would've been of exige s cars.

biggest surprises -- ford mustang california special (though i was pissed they wouldn't let anybody sit in the gt500) & subaru forester xt (nice car -- though i wanted to see the specb and limited sti which they didn't have)

new 07 g35 sedan was nice, but honestly it felt cramped. and the trans tunnel goes into the back seat.

mx5 was honestly unimpressive. ms3 on the other hand was really nice. ms6 was meh for me.

mitsu was there W/OUT an evo, wtf is that.

coolest concept was probably this ford that looked like a dang GT but it was not painted, just polished metal. i forget what it was called, but it was pretty cool. coolest feature to me was the new super duty with the tailgate handle/step feature.

z06 was freaking amazing. nice clutch/shifter feel from what i could tell. obviously great performance. cobalt ss wasn't anything to write home about, it felt like my focus' interior w/ a boost gauge.

other than that, nothing too special. did the toyota offroad driving with the tundra, but they woudn't let me go very fast or really check it out, turning radius was impressive.

good time overall -- go see it if it comes to your town
