right now i have a set of ebay headlights on my car right now that i got a few years ago...i wanted to put HID's in them but i heard from a distributor on ebay say that you cannot put HID in these headlights cuz the lenses on them are not cut out to handle the high temps of the HID assembly...anyone can clarify on this it would be great thanks

what year integra ? i had a 94 with an h.i.d. kit and it worked fine for
2 years until i sold the car. if its a cheap ebay brand it can pull to many watts out and burn up wires made to handle less.
h.i.d. should not melt your head lights unless used or put in wrong

well i know that the bulbs right now in them are 80W and the HID kit are 35W...so i would think that they would not burn as hot

h.i.d.'s burn hotter thats why they are brighter. They start of at 4k or 6k and up. Stock head light on integra's burn around 3k to 4k but require more watts.

hid=35watts 6k burn that's a white beam (different k's are different color)
silver star bulb= 65 to 80watts butt only 3k to 4k beam (not as bright)

Well, My headlights NEVER showed any condensation since I've owned the integra (got it jan 05) and after I retrofitted my '07 Lexus RX330 4300k philips HIDs,...Now i've got alot of condensation,and it wasn't even worth it. I can't see as good now :cry: ....light just scatters,...extremely bright output ,but can't see as good. I need to make a thread and post the pics I've got see what y'all think

thanks man...i checked out my bulbs that i have in the lenses right now and they are 80W and 12K so i think if i get HID's that they will be ok cuz im looking at the 10K set and the wattage on the HID's are lower as well

It's because your projectors arent HID projectors. The cut offs are completely wrong. Do a retrofit with some G35 projectors and you'd be ok.
