Okay, forgive my "noobish" questions. I've googled, searched HT and other Honda forums high and low.

My reverse lights aren't hooked up on my '88 DX hatch. Its a "canadian" model, came factory with a manual trans. After looking at the chassis wires and the wires coming off the sensor on the trans, the colors don't match up. I was concerned about messing stuff up (I figured worst case would be a blown fuse, hopefully lol.) and figured its easier to ask someone who may have a link or the info I need.

Also-What gauge are the wires? I'm not very good at "eyeballing" it, and the sensor wires are cut so short I'll have to "extend" the wires to hook up to the chassis.

i wanna say the wire is pretty small like a 14 gauge or something.

With a b series i think u have to just connect them like with sodder or something...as far as the colors go, i would say take a voltmeter to the harness side and see which one has positive and just go from there. I doubt you will blow a fuse i dont think those wires take much current. Only other option is to get the wiring schematic of a your car (harness) and somehow acquire the schematic for a civic si-R
