anyone know if the RMF style header will bolt straight up to my teg's exhaust? or will i need a test pipe? all the info i've found, it doesnt say anything about this... thanks for the help

you will need a test pipe regardless of what header you buy...i dont believe you can use the stock cat either because the collector is too big on the header for the cat converter.

^ yeah ure right. it has a 2.5" collector so im gunna need 2.5" test pipe. thanks for the help though

not to bash but that RMF header is junk it dont give you any HP help what so ever and it has been proven also u might have to notch out you radiator fan shroud but that is just my 2 cents your better of getting a hytech tri=y replica header it gives you proven dyno HP and it bolts right in but you will need to get a 2.5 test pipe because that is the collector size

ive seen the RMF header dynos on my buddy's setup before and after and he picked up like 6whp over his previous vibrant

im surprised others and myself included have not had any good experience with it but whatever to each there own i hope it works well for him just given my 2 cents on the subject and that is what this forum is for opinions every set up is different

^ yea that totally true...his build was a sleeved b20/vtec so i mean maybe for higher rpm motors or the setup made it the header good for it...

its really just depends on setup...i had a hytech replica header on my b20v w/ pro 1's and there was a huge dip in the dyno b/c of the header/cam combo...once i put a vibrant on where the header tube pairings were different than the hytech, the dip went away...
