i was wondering how much boost a stock b18b1 would hold and what would be the best thing to tune it with?

Without a tune no boost is safe. With a good tune such as ems or hondata, I have seen up to 20 psi on stock internals and a mild advance. If you want durability for daily driving keep it under 10 psi and get some ARP rod bolt to keep the bottom end together if you rev to redline often.

Mind as well get arp studs everywhere, its pretty cheap.

i have a few friends that have got some of their ecu's seem to work fine. im tuning with chrome i have a b18b an im on 17lbs .an beat it daily.i would do the arp everything an head gasket an i would push it to the limit .but all an all id run 17lbs an turn it up if u want when u race or are at the track but dont turn it up if u dont have the tunng stuff or a diff chip u can just throw in for the time u r at the track or the locale hang out spot ....an if u get their ecu dont run the basemap long that is only an he said she said tune to get u to the tuner ..just a lil heads up seen some people blow their cars up cuz they thought the basemap was the tune lol
