The short shifter in my teg now is nice, except the stock boot doesnt fit the short shifter. The openeing at the top is too big and it sags down. Im not sure on the brand of the shifter, or if it even matters, i just want to boot to fit how it should. I'll post some pics soon to clarify a little more. Any suggestions?

do what i did lol.. i wrapped electrical tape around my short shifter just under the knob. then when i had enough on there to have a tight fit for the boot. i slide the boot all the way to the knob and it hasnt fallin down yet...and looks decent..

Though tempting, the electrical tape isnt quite what i was looking for lol. Is there a company that sells after maket boots for short throw shifters?

super glue the top of the plastic to your shift knob. though you better not want to take it off that often. Take it to a car shop like creative car tunes in lemoyne and see what they have to say. punk

I may have to do that, i need a second opinion because i cant find any that are specifically for short shifters, (if there are any). Superglue looks a little better than tape if you do it right. Ill have pictures up tomorrow to make all this a little clearer. Thanks for the advice, Jammal

take your shifter out if you can and take it up to the hardware store and find a washer with a big enough center bore to fit where you want the boot to sit. then place the boot over the shifter/washer and install your knob. I set my oem type-r boot up with my b&m short throw and skunk2 knob that way, everyone asks me how and it just makes me laugh. it's such a simple solution

Personally I think it looks awesome when the short shifter is blingin between the knob and boot. Kinda makes your passengers think "I wonder what he's got hid under the hood backin that up?"
