i was just wondering how many of you are running the skunk2 intake manifold , and if you can tell a real differance on the b18 non vtec motors ?

i am but cant really say if it made a difference cause it was the first motor mod i did. i would say it makes more top end but looses in the midrange though.

ya...im running the blox type r clone manifold, which is the same thing but skunk2 has a bigger plentum, and i would agree that it does make more top end but looses torque and midrange...

Just a question what kind of mods did you all have once you installed the skunk2 manifold......

i have an older skunk2 IM...dont feel any difference...but like most people would say.. don't need an aftermarket IM unless you got head work...

If your going with an aftermarket intake mani head work if definetly a must. Right now im running the skunk 2 with crower 403s along with the titanium dual valve springs. It definetly adds power, but the right parts and having it tuned is key.

i have a mild port on my head, crower 62404 cams, dual valve springs and Ti retainers, ferrea 1mm oversized valves...with the Blox IM i noticed about a 2-3 hp gain on the top end...you would see more of a difference if your car was turboed probably...
