i hate that they changed the look of it. tyota should have stuck with the supra. and nissan should have stuck with the r34. its rare to find a car that looks sexy, aggressive, smooth, and well defined all in one car..

i was in to buy crush rings and some body clips for my 02 wrx and it happens to be a nissan dealer too. so i asked about the skyline they said some bastard bought one on pre-order for 1000$ over sticker for a meer 90k. must be nice. i think i'll stick to my teg thanks. and i must agree i think they went a little overboard on the styling. it looks ok don't get me wrong but it just doesn't look like a skyline. too tacky.

I have really mixed opinions on it. It seems like they over priced it,and they should have stuck to the RB motor series...I think its supposed to have a VQ variant? Is that right?

I don't know. I geuss I was hoping for more of a perf bargian. Like back in the day, when you could go buy a fast ass twinturbo supra or 300zx for less than a corvette and smoke one at the stoplight

i think it does, have a VQ varient. and i agree. it seems like averything coming over here from abroad and even domestic sports cars. you definately have to pay to play. just remember they are selling an image, a name, and a legacy with the skyline. they know we know that so they can get away with those kind of prices.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ward's_10_Best_Engines

"The Nissan VQ engine is the only engine to have been present on the list every year since the competition’s inception in 1995."
