hey does anyone know how to remove the sound dampening on the hondas in a quick and easy way?

the sound dampening in hondas are a lot of weight...if you take all of it off it shaves off about 20-30 pounds

if you are talking about the tar under the carpet best thing i know to do is get some dry ice and put on it and then hit the tar with a hammer and it will shatter. i believe it was Nathan that had a post about that on the old nonVTEC.com or Nathan and I were talking about it one day with his old civic.

dry ice is the #1 choice. if you dont have acccess, you can try and chisel it for hours at a time. and how come he cant do it to a daily driver? my crx is completely stripped besides the driver corner
