You can boost stock. There are kits you can buy that will bolt right up, usually more expensive than piecing. Exhaust piping you want to go to 3 inch for turbo. 7 psi will serve you well. I don't know about the cat or o2 sensor. I dont know if some of the downpipes have o2 bunges for the sensor and you should be able to keep your cat.

doesnt matter what kit you run, you can have an o2 bung welded in as well as have your downpipe/exhaust utilize a cat.

stock they use bolts and yes it's wise to either replace them w/new bolts from Honda or buy ARP or Golden Eagle stud kits.

Replace with new bolts. No matter how light and correct you take off the head with the sequence pattern the stock head bolts stretch. You can reuse them but the specs will be off. It is 120 bucks for ARP head bolts that can be reused. If you stay low boost you wouldn't have a problem with ARP head bolts.

Ebay kits usually don't come with certain odds and ends deals as well such as return/feed lines, sensor bypass, fuel system parts . It is just easier and a lot less hassle just to buy a kit like the Drag kit.

Tune will make or brake your setup. Don't forget injectors too are a must. The ls is an awesome f/i motor and you will have tons of fun wit it.
