Crower says you need them so I'd probably listen. You don't necessarily need their brand but you may need some if you want to remain safe.

yea the only ones i would recommend with stock valvesprings are the stage 1's...if you dont want to put money into a set of dual valvesprings, then i would just get those...they wont be as good but it will be hella better than ur stock ones

I second that and they would be better for boost than stock anyway.

i had my setup with the stage 1 crowers and i made 10whp gain all motor with 9.5:1 compression...they are worth the money...for the most part the only difference between the 62-402's and the 62-402t's are the amount of lift just to let more air into the combustion chamber

http://crower.com/cat/import/honda/cams/b18ab.shtml

Basically they have duration just under the stage 2, but lift of the 405. So based on lift alone you'd need the upgraded springs, but also notice the advertised duration vs. the @lift duration on the exhaust side, looks like steep ramp rate. That is also a problem with stockers.

so in other words you can run 402t cams on a all motor application, and gain performance. i could have got some for cheap and let them go.
