I live in mass and the closest track is in CT. or New hampshire. So what I do is street race. I'm don't wanna pay for gas there and back and to race plus entry fee so I get er done light to light or whatever nice strip we find... saves money. Alot of people frown on street racing because it's "dangerous" but myself and alot of other people love it I just wanna hear some other opinions on the topic.

well i love both. But when someone get kills or when things get out of hands than it's not cool. Now I just recommend going to the track.

Is there anyone else with an opinion on this topic or are your cars just for show and slow?

i used to street race like when i first got my license up until about 18 (when i got arrested for it). I agree that it is a huge adreneline rush but i think its kinda childish. I've grown up a lot more since that.

I think that street racing is a faze that most of us go through. Its an adrenaline rush and not to mention the chick factor. But after a few close calls i gave it up and now that i'm older i realize i could have gotten in a whole lot of trouble for that. I used to race a 2jz before i got into b18s and almost lost my life when my car spun out and hit a brick wall. I currently drive a b18 civic that looks completely stock down to the hubcaps. But I let loose on the highways and an occasional burnout at a red light. Going to the track is safer and you can really put you car to the test.

x2! its not really childish like i put before, but a track has its advantages by a lot...ive gotten outta drag racing and gone to circuit racing just cuz i think its a lot cooler and you learn to handle your car on a whole nother spectrum

The track sounds like where it's at, as far as living in Massachusetts we don't have one :nonnon . Maybe if we got a track then we wouldn't use the street... who knows.

yea i mean it is free to street race, but a lot of risk comes with it. i know at our strips in IL/WI, you pay around 20 dollars or so and over a dozen runs on a slow night...i think its worth it
