Wuzup guys! i need some suggestions on my set up... so i'm still sitting in the same place concerning to engine work since last time i post in here, except for the fact that i fixed the cel problem a had (o2 sensor replaced) and a few other mechanical upgrades. So i still have a set of crower 403's with valve springs, retainers and an itr throttle body sitting in my house that i wont install yet till I'm sure what i should do next...well i want a fun car with good torque on the low end to drive as a daily drive, specially when you come off a red light without stressing the car hehe, but i also want some hp on the high end band to keep up in case i will need it too . To get there i will be getting a b16 tranny and swap a 93 ls 5th for cruising on the highway. Right now i am standing like this 94 integra ls with a b20 (p8r) with cai,4-2-1 headers,2.25 exhaust, fpr, ls im, running on a p75 ecu.
I'm doubting basically on what should i do next without loosing to much low end or mid end power...my concern is basically on the intake manifold and which one works the best, i know that the runners, plenum and diameter have a lot to do with this, i read about the differences but on a non vtec engine is a little different since the head doesnt flow as much as a vtec one... Anybody with personal experience? Should i get a blox /skunk 2 intake manifold , then install the itr throttle body and match all up to the port openings of the cylinder head, followed by installing the cams and etc. Or should i port match my existing ls intake manifold to the itr throttle body and cylinder head... any opinion will be taken. thanks
