IMHO--Just go turbo. I've always called the vortech setup dynoqueens. Get a nice turbo kit, you can go faster for cheaper

yea...u can get a kit a lot cheaper than that setup...plus if you were going to get a supercharger, get a "real" one a.k.a. "roots-style" supercharger

Turbo is the best bang for the buck, they are also a lot easy to build upon than a supercharger.

Wich your only real choice in a 'roots type' positive displacement blower is the Jackson Racing one. The one for the LS uses an EATON m45 blower, wich really is unefficient for anything other than about 180WHP.

Guy that used to be on the boards, had one with a modified intercooler, crower 402T cams,..and was barely topping 200whp. He since changed to turbo, and was putting over 25xwhp last I checked
