I am a new member as of right now, this site is sick!!!!! I own a 93 Integra with a DOHC B18. Doesn't have alot done, just a Aem intake, Aem adjustable cam gears, Pace setter header and downpipe, stage2 clutch, B&M short throw, drilled and slotted rotors, and some other little stuff. It's not my everyday driver and i've decided that I really want to take it to the next level of natural aspiration. Considering a turbo, but really need to still do my homework a bit. Does anyone have any tips that could help me out? Even just places with good parts? Also maybe any good reliable machine shops in Oregon?

Before going out and buying parts you first have to figure out what your goals and budget are. Once you do that then you can buy the parts. That way you wont buy the wrong stuff and have to sell them off on craigslist.

Read this guide honda-b18a-and-b18b-engine-modification-guide-t2181.html

Just remember if you go turbo you goal is to lower the compression but if your goal is all motor then you up the compression. That will dictate the part you buy. Some are best suited for low compression that are perfect for turboing. Other parts are made to increase compression which are better suited for all motor builds.

What kind of gains would you get from all motor? I have a pretty good understanding as far as the basics of both, but I can't seem to get a non-bias opinion with pros and cons. It's not going to be a track car, but it would be nice to hammer down from time to time and put a few to shame. My ego is good enough that I don't really need to prove i'm the best, which sadly too much of this genre is based on. Don't get me wrong, I love these cars through and through, and have a good understanding of my engine, but it would be nice to have a few tuner convos on mine, not to mention I enjoy listening to other ideas with people that also love anything that goes fast. What about you, what do you have under your hood? I could care less whether it were a fancy exotic or the pinto from waynes world. (Although that car had a red rope dispenser, SICK!) Now that's trick, what you know about that? :http://www.nonvtec.com/forums/posting.php?mode=smilies&f=24#club: :club:
