i always say dont bother with stage one, get at least crower 403's or bc 22's. they will both work well with a stock redline and dont need a built bottom end.

IMHO its not worth it. You have got a pretty decent build coming up and you should get all the power you need out of the 240. It won't be worth the money and the time to throw those cams in. If you really want to add a little bit of power then throw some 403's in and tune it. Still looking about a grand to do so. Are you just turboing the 240 or doing an sr20 swap?

Ka-T ftw. The kas power curve reminds me of an LS, lots of torque w00t and midrange hp,but nothing really high up

Maybe find a set of used 403's, eBay special header, and home depot CAI  Should have plenty of pep. By the way if you are just wanting a little extra oomph try a B16 tranny. I love mine even before I built and turbo'd it seemed like the car was faster

-technically- an SI/Type R trans can make you faster. The gear ratios are insane, just be prepared to be pay alot more for gas esp. if you highway commute.
