So, here's my goal. I want to buy a B18B and swap it into my EK. Now, I'm trying to plan out everything I need/want to use here. My power goal is a mere 230HP for daily driving, and I figured the easiest/cheapest way to achieve this is to get a B18B and turbo it. Now, I would go with a simple kit, but I don't know if they would fit with the EK chassis since those kits are designed for Integras. Maybe they do and I'm just not aware of it? Anyways, my question is anybody who can help me find the right kits/parts.

I have 2 main criteria here:
!) Responsiveness. I am not the biggest fan of turbos for the simple reason that I find turbo lag a bit annoying with as much as I drive. I understand that turbos = lag no matter what if you want real power out of them. I don't need what I consider a huge amount of power out of my engine. But I hope I can find something out there where I can get the HP boost I want without dealing with all the lag. So a big part here is finding the right turbo size with the right PSI I'm assuming.

2) Reliability. Unless anybody knows of cheap internal upgrades, I pretty much plan on using the stock build. So I could use an idea of what to look for that won't blow my engine after 3000 miles. As I said, I'm not looking for huge power gains, so I hope this won't be a huge issue for me. But maybe others here have an insight into my engine plans here.

So, thanks for any help you guys can give me. I'd appreciate it, so I can start looking and saving up for/buying what I need.

These are the turbos I would use. Garret, Precision, and turbonetic
inlet hotside
t3 .42 a.r/.48 a. r.
t3 .60 a.r/.48 a. r.
t3/t4 .50 a.r./.63 a.r.
t3/t4 .60 a.r./.63 a.r.

All these turbos I had great experience on it. These should give you a fast spool. You can run turbo on stock internal, aslong you gt it tune right. My stock ls swap in my civic ran turbo for 2yrs before i sold it. If you do decide on running turbo on a stock internal, i would go pass 10-12 psi. If you are using stock ecu with a missing link, the ecu can only read up to 10 psi. If you plan on using a chipped ecu and 3 bar map, I would do 12 psi, but if you got a good tuner the psi can vary. but since you wanted as a dd then 6-7 psi, and you can up the boost at the track 10 psi. You can piece a kit together or buy the really expensive kit. I would rather piece my kit together. It's cheaper if your on a budget.
