my car has been running perfectly fine UNTIL. i installed my headers. thats all i have done was put those on. the day i put them on i drove my car. it started fine. ran fine. i let it cool off. did the header swap. after i got them on. car hesitated to start. i didnt have the o2 sensor in so i figured that was the problem. but it got to were it would start this time and not the next. i placed o2 sensor in today. still want start. i checked for fuel and spark. had fuel no spark. when you first turn key on the check engine light should come on while engine purges. well my light dont come on. when it does come on the car will start. would that be a dizzy problem. or an issue were i didnt have the o2 in. all fuses are good. any help thanks......

did u check the code yet?

it wont flash a code. nothing. wish it would flash one. when it does flash. the car starts and it flashes 41. o2 heater sensor. other then that its dead and just sends fuel only no spark. when i turn key to on position. no lights on my cluster light up at all. no check engine light. no oil pressure light. nothing. i was thinking. could it be a sign of the main relay????

try substituting the distributor for a known good unit... they do just go bad out of the blue.

what about the check engine light and not being able to check my codes. im sure whatever is causing my check light not to come on has to do with something about no spark. like i said when that light comes on i get spark and car starts up. when i turn key to on position i get no lights on the cluster at all. i dont think a dizzy has anything to do with my cluster. ill try it out see what happens.

If that doesn't work, try the ecu or could pull out that volt meter...

yeah im leaning toward an ecu problem. i just completly re wired the whole car. i do my own wiring. so i went back through were i converted from dual point to multi point. everything was good. then were i converted my whole obd-0 harness to obd-1. it was all good. im going to throw a p06 in tomorrow see if its my ecu or not. i still havent gotten ahold of another dizzy yet. this is the problems i go through to were i give up. pull my motor out and all my goodies, and throw the car away. if i dont figure it out by thursday then bye bye 4dr. find me another shell somewhere.
