bye law it should be painted so autocrime can identify a motor better. i really don't know if that's true or not but we paint all our shops/customers blocks red .... PS red/black is the shops theme ... where starting on the head soon.. we should pump out of the all motor non vtec about 200 whp.. in a ef9 ..

Never said the motor wasn't nice I just don't like painted blocks, although the identification thought for crime is a good idea I think that a steel stamping under the motor code might work just the same. Like H-Motors and JG engine Dynamics do when they work on somebody's stuff. Stamping is just a little more subtle. I don't want everyone that sees my motor to know that its built.

looks pretty ... since when is stock sleeves w/ a block guard and cast pistons fully built tho?

maybe its just me but i'd like to see some forged pistons and some real aftermarket sleeves first.

There's no reason to bump a build thread. It'd be best to just add the new pictures or pop in with updates when there are some.

* 94-00 Acura Integra LS - B18B1 1.8L DOHC Non- VTEC
************************* *******************

Stage 3 Head Package is a full recondition of the cylinder head to completely refreshen the head for optimum performance. Necessary machining is performed for the cylinder head to function like new. Only the best parts are used in each Cylinder head build. Each build is prepped for the specific use, whether it is for street, full race, turbo or all motor applications.

Package includes:
1. Pre-inspection: check cylinder head for damage
2. Exospeed Port and Polish Service
3. Aftermarke t Performance Valve springs and titanium retainers(ISKY Valvetrain kits)
** Specific Valvetrain kits are chosen to match what you plan to use the engine for. The appropriate valve spring pressure is installed to suit the high lift cam you are going to use or for the amount of boost you plan to take the engine up to.
3. 3 Angle Valve Job
4. Resurface
5. New Genuine OEM Factory Valve Seals
6. Assembly and installation of new parts
************************* ********************

This package is designed for the serious racer who wants to increase performance through the flow rate of the cylinder head. Our Exospeed Port and Polish service frees up the HP you want by modifying the cylinder head ports to increase the volume and flow characterisitics of your stock head. The upgraded valvetrain also adds strength to the engine by preventing valve float at high RPM when using high lift camshafts or high boost turbo applications. The Stage 3 is what you need to fully prepare any race engine to handle the extreme conditions you plan to push your engine to. Add Stainless Steel valves to the setup for improved flow to the head. The stage 3 package also includes a full refreshening of the necessary parts so it is ready to mate on any race or stock block.

i did not get it assembled there .....we did it in house at RFD tuning inc in long island ....... i think it should produce 200+ whp cams are crane stage 6 part # 101-0020
