i plan on sleeving my b18b1 block to 84mm and using my fully built non-v head of course, but i have .5mm oversized brian crower dished valves with a 3 angle valve job, is there a possibility of making valve to piston contact? im going to run low comp pistons for boost and all pistons i find say with v-tec head, will these still work in my case? any help is greatly appreciated guys thanks in advance!

ok i just found cp b series 84mm pistons online that say they work with b16, b18a/b/c heads but my Q still stands with the over sized valves not hitting the pistons, i don't need to have the pistons machined right?

with aftermarket pistons...they make the valve pockets big enough to fit oversized valves...you also need to find a pistons that is supposed to work with a non-vtec head...if they give you a compression valve for a ls-vtec...go onto c-speedracing.com and use their compression calculator to see what the compression will be with a non vtec head because there will be a difference
