I swapped in a 00' JDM B20B in my 90' Integra and it had one of those wierd box style intake manifolds on it and it would not let the hood close. So I just put my stock B18A manifold on just so I could get my car back on the road. But when I had them off and side by side the ports were waaay bigger on the B20B manifold than they were on the B18A manifold. Do they make a manifold for the high compression B20B/Z that isnt the box style?? If not, what B series manifold has the same size (or atleast similiar sized) ports as the high compression JDM B20B with the box style manifold? What about aftermarket? Are there any good aftermarket intake manifolds for low reving engines? Everything Ive really looked at is made to make power way higher up than I'll ever rev my B20.

I can definitely tell the car isnt running 100% yet. But not sure how much of it has to do with my manifold. I'm obd-0 and got my ecu chipped with a basemap tune on it so I still need to get it really tuned. Kinda waiting to do that until after I get my intake manifold situation figured out. All the mods I have done is a AEM short ram, DC header, 2.5" Spun highflow cat, and a 2.5" mandrel bent catback exhaust to a Skunk2 fartcan.

I've seen alot of people recommend the Blox manifold.

But dont those make all there power up high? Im saying my motor will never see anything over 7K and from what Ive seen Type R style manifolds (skunk2, blox) dont really start to make power until around 5K. Wont that be kinda pointless on my motor?

then get a b18b manifold... its alot better than a b18a and it can be found cheap

if you dont plan on getting aftermarket cams then its the best choice

You don't lose power down low. but you won't see any gains. they only really help up top. blox is skunk2 but a little cheaper. i had the skunk2 on my ls and it was very nice. the installation has a few little snags but is fairly easy.

So the B18 manifold will fit on the B20 head? And so on. It is just that on some sites they will list those two manifolds seperate.
