Ok well this guy i kno has an EG hatch with a single cam 1.6L non vtec...i looked under his hood.... I have a 95integra LS... i raced him a few weeks ago and beat him ...by like 6 car lenghts.... me and him both have only short ram intake and full exhaust...well today he comes and says he wants to race.. his car and engine look the same as before but in this race i only beat him by like a car or 2... so he tells me he got better at driving and shifting.. and other people tell me he was runnin nitrous... well i challenge him to anothet race and then he says NO.. and i asked him if his nitrous ran out? and he denys to have nitrous... wat do you guys think??

it could be that he just got better at driving...and u could of had a bad launch or something as well... a 50 shot of nitrous on a d series could make the difference though between 6 and 2 cars though

Thats true.. also we raced 3 times and it was the same result.. he was right on my ass then i pulled on him by 2 cars by the end of 3rd gear

my buddy had a EK coupe, automatic, with a stock Z6 with a 55 zex shot on it. W/out it he ran like a 16.7 or something and with he ran a 15.3 so yea its possible

OO.. well he was braging soo much and aint want to race again but who cares.. he is getting a b18b put in his hatch and im getting exospeed stage 2 cams with a street tune next week so i dont think he will be beating me anytime soon... and thanks for the feedback!!

Lol..i think its possible to get better at shift points.. cuz some people like to shift at redline and others like to shift at the power band point..... i personally justl listen to the engine and i kno when to shift...i make my LS chirp 3rd with an OEM clutch ...just intake n exhaust...
