Hey my name is J,
I own an all black 95 teg LS
I joined this site because I'm so sick of all this "you need Vtec BRO, otherwise your car sucks" talk. I wanna make a nonvtec car thats just as good.

(heres some of my history- AND MY TEG)
I work as a gas Jock and do a lot of mechanic work, I love doing the work on my car. I joined the marine corps, but dont go to boot camp for a while.

I bought a 95 all black teg, (type R spoiler, rota rims, black calipers, all black wiring under hood, Type R front fender, blue angel halo headlights, aftermark clear turn signals (blue bolbs :)), carbon fiber shift knob leading to 3rd stage manual with lightened fly wheel, 2 strut bars, performance springs with A LOT of downforce (its lowered).Sounds great rightt???!!! :-? :-? well not really.

My First Project on the car

I knew after buying this car, a full engine overhall was exactly what i needed to do. The damn thing wouldnt start and there was oil EVERYWHERE. I had a feeling my block was destroyed. See Pics below. (more coming later)

The pan emptied out about 7 quarts of OIL AND WATER mixed together, coupled by a nice metallic sand in the bottom. :banghead

With the head off the car, i noticed the cylinders are ALL out of sync. Its all messed up. see bottom pic.

heres what the head looked like. I cleaned the cams and the cam guides, but I am getting a new longblock. More posts about this project coming soon. Any suggestions feel free to post. . .
