Just a simple question, no we're not currently looking for anymore. At least not until the site grows but, I just want to see what your reasoning is for wanting to be a moderator...

and go...

I wouldn't mind being a mod one, I only see 3 or 4 mods around. I tend to help out alot(10 yrs experience on automotive), and put some inputs in for members. I can also help get hook up on oem parts and other aftermarket parts ( that can also help out members). Like I said I wouldn't mind helping.

When we switched over to the new software we had like 10 mods... there is absolutely no need for that many. I would like to give all the old members the "mod" title, but there just isn't a need as of yet.

I noticed that you help out and its appreciated, but there are others like Thawley and TEXREX who help out a lot as well. It doesn't necessarily grant you the mod title.

Wanting to be a mod to help out and help the site, is a good reason. However, wanting to be a mod just because you think it would be cool... is not.

In the near future I'm going to work on the "Moderator Application"... once complete I'll post it up and let all the members have at it. I'll probably post it up when we have 1,000 members, currently we have only 683. I would like to see half of those 1,000 being active, that's a lot I know... but having 4-500 active members, I think that would require the addition of mods.

I would love to be a mod as I have been here though thick and thin and I still have the NONVTEC.com stickers on my car. Really though whenever there is a application process I will put one in.

I would love to be a Mod but I'm too big of a smart ass and I don't want that responsibility.

I used to run a very popular bmx sports forum a few years back and i know the ropes on installing forums, moderating them and working with them. Defiantly not your plain jane user :)
