driving today and my car started running hot. i pulled over for about 20 mins to let it cool down. it didnt quite reach the hot spot on the temperature guage. pulled of it was on the normal. thought it was all good. well my oil pressure dropped to 0 psi. an it would die everytime i push the clutch in. tried to make it to a buddy of mines house who lived close by and each time it died it got harder to crank like the battery was weak but it wasnt. got there checked my oil it was full. right on. at the time my antifreeze was looking good. temp still ok but wouldnt start anymore. bout an hour of sitting. it would crank fine. idle fine. run fine. even after temp got up to normal. i was building up crazy pressure behind the radiator cap. then noticed the milky substance. so then i figured blown gasket or head. no problem. got heads and gaskets. but the oil pressure drop has me puzzled. i really need opinions on to why it dropped. and also there is no oil reaching my head. any help will work.

if you have a blown head gasket your oil pressure could be leaking into your cooling system thus the extra pressure in there and the lack of it in the head.

milky substance in the coolant is almost always oil...

replace your headgasket

haha i stripped the whole motor down today completely. so what ever it is is gettin fixed. im taking the oil pump off a spare 1.5 i have. going ahead and putting my p29 pistons in. with a full rebuild kit. so i should get rid of the problem. if not itll be another honda going to the junk yard. wont be the first i sent. sure not the last. just hope i dont build to much compression with this build.
